Through www.motonaxos.com you can easily proceed to an online reservation in 3 easy steps.

 

How will I know that my reservation is confirmed?

By clicking the ‘Book Now’ option at the online reservation process, you will get a successful message that the process has been completed and has been addressed to us. Your reservation will have been confirmed when you will receive the respective email from our team. Please check also your spam inbox.

 

Is it possible to modify my reservation after it has been confirmed?

Yes, you can modify your reservation by email at info@motonaxos.com or by a phone call at +30 22850 23420, after it has been confirmed. Please mind that, to enable reservation modification you have to contact us at least 48 hours prior to the pickup date and time.

 

Is it possible to cancel my reservation after it has been confirmed?

Yes, you can cancel your reservation under certain conditions. Please consult our cancellation policy https://motonaxos.com/terms-conditions/

 

How can I cancel my reservation?

In order to cancel your reservation, you have to contact our team by email at info@motonaxos.com .

 

Can I get an invoice for my rental?

Of course! Business members are very welcomed. Please mind that you have to let us know that you wish to get an invoice when making your reservation.


Insurances

 

What is the 3rd party insurance?

Third-party insurance (3rd.P.I.) is included in all rental vehicles.

In case of an accident the 3rd party insurance covers the cost of the damage you have caused to the other vehicle. For any damages caused to the rented vehicle, you are responsible. See more: https://motonaxos.com/terms-conditions/

 

What is CDW insurance?

The CDW insurance is an optional insurance for a rental vehicle.

In the event of an accident, C. D. W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance enables the renter to pay up to a specific amount of excess depending on the vehicle category and type. See more: https://motonaxos.com/terms-conditions/

 

What are the requirements for purchasing CDW insurance?

You have to be over 25 years old and to have a valid driver’s license for at least two years.

 

What should I do in case of an accident?

In case of an accident, call the local police +30 2285 22100 and our head office +30 22850 23420.

 

When am I not covered by the insurance?

There is no insurance coverage if the driver is under the influence of alcohol, any kind of drugs or commits any traffic violations. The driver is liable for all parking and traffic violations during the rental period. No vehicle is allowed to be driven on the sand, at the beach, in dry lakes or off-road. All vehicles are allowed to be driven on paved roads. In case of an accident a police report is required.
Please NOTE, that there is no insurance coverage for damages caused to the tires, mirrors, gearbox and inside and underside the vehicle. Also, there is no insurance coverage in case of losing the key.

What kind of driver’s license do I need for riding an ATV?

ATVs over 150cc require a regular car driving license.

 

Which type of driving license is required for a scooter in Greece?

Riding any two-wheeled vehicle in Greece requires a driving license for a scooter or motorcycle. 

European licenses of category AM allow scooters up to 50cc, of category A1 allow scooters up to 125cc, and of category A2/A allow larger sizes.

Non-European licenses should indicate a motorcycle endorsement.

Can I proceed to a reservation without holding a credit card?

Proceeding to a reservation without holding a credit card is possible.

You may use your debit card or prepaid card for finalising your reservation through our website www.motonaxos.com .

Please note that a security deposit of the rental is required locally. For any questions do not hesitate to contact, at any time, at the following email address info@motonaxos.com.

 

Do I need a passport or an ID card for renting a vehicle?

A valid passport or ID card is necessary for both European and non-European citizens for proceeding with a rental contract.

 

Are documents in digital form accepted for a rental?

     All documents have to be presented in their physical form when renting any vehicle. This ensures the security and authenticity of the document you currently possess.

 

Is an international driver’s license required?

International driver’s license is not required for the EU countries and the mentioned countries below:

Where can I issue an international license if I am a foreign citizen in Greece?

You can issue your international driving license online.

Can I rent a vehicle if I have lost my documents?

To rent a vehicle, if your documents are lost, a police report is required. The police report must confirms the incident and states the documents’ details which are required for the rental contract, such as: document type, country, number, expiration date, and category.

Can I drive with the vehicle to another place outside of Naxos Island?

Driving outside the boundaries of Naxos Island is not advisable due to the absence of insurance coverage while on board.
In the event of a collision outside of Naxos Island, you assume full responsibility for returning the vehicle in the same condition and at the agreed-upon location and time, as specified in your contract.

Should you encounter any mechanical issues during your rental period outside of Naxos Island, please note that we are unable to provide on-site assistance. Consequently, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle’s return at the specified location and time, as indicated in the contract.

However, under special arrangements with us, you can visit other places outside of Naxos with a Motonaxos vehicle.

 

Can I get a Naxos map?

A detailed map is given to our customers. Also, our customers can benefit from our team’s advice and tips for the island (upon request and in line with the available personnel).

 

Can I extend my rental contract?

You can extend your rental contract by letting us know before its expiration. Please mind that the extension cannot be ensured, but we will do our best to accommodate your need.

 

Can I end my contract prior to the agreed drop-off date which is written on the contract?

You can drop-off the vehicle earlier, and at the same condition you rent it, but you cannot get reimbursed.

 

How many stations do you have on the island?

We hold three stations on Naxos Island and two meeting points. We also accept appointments for rental services at hotels.

 

Do you have a large fleet?

We are proud to hold the biggest and most diverse fleet on Naxos Island. Our aim is to cater for all tastes and accommodate any need during your visit on Naxos Island.

Our wide variety of vehicles allows you to switch between different types of vehicle or models, easily and quickly. Our large fleet enables us to be more flexible and efficient for meeting any of your requirements.

Among our available models for rental, you will find 4 people buggies, convertible cars, jeeps, SUVs, automatic cars, brand bugy, four-wheelers, scooters, big motorcycles, and ATVs up to 800cc.

Is it easy to drive an Atv or a scooter for the first time?

Driving skills are being tested and verified by the nominated authorities.

In order to drive a vehicle, you have to carry the respective driving license. However, we would like to clarify that ATVs, in general, are a friendly vehicle to drivers and thus easier to drive for the first time thanks to the four wheels. However, it can turn into a dangerous vehicle when driving abnormally.

As for the scooters we always suggest to our guests to have plenty of experience of driving on two wheels before renting, as the stability skill can be challenging without prior use.

Am I allowed to drive off-road?

All vehicles are allowed to drive only on paved roads. Driving on the sand, at the beach, in dry lakes or off-road will result in penalties. Also, the company is fully authorised to cease a rental contract without prior notice and without refund, when the renter drives abnormally or when the driving is putting people’s life in danger or when there is improper use of the vehicle.
